Illinois College is a liberal arts college located in Jacksonville, Illinois. Our college prides itself on learning students do inside the classroom but also the learning they are a part of outside of the classroom. This means every first-year student has the opportunity to participate in an internship in their major. Internships allow students to apply the learning in the classroom to the real world and allows students to get an idea of what it would be like to work in the field of their interest. Textbooks are also included in our tuition. We are the only college outside of Chicago that is works with the Dream US scholarship to offer financial aid to undocumented immigrants. We are a D1 school and some of our sports include football, basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball, track and field, golf, tennis, esports, drumline, cheer, and dance. We have over 50 different majors and programs to include education, sports management, computer science, engineering, criminal justice, biology, chemistry, and nursing. Our nursing lab has simulations that allow students to gain hands-on experience before their clinicals. We also have a variety of pre-professional tracks that include law, pre-med, physical therapy, occupational therapy, dentistry, and veterinary.
