Western Illinois University is a mid-size, public university in Macomb, IL, about four hours from Chicago. WIU offers over 60 different major options for our students including: Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, Nursing, Broadcasting, Engineering, Business, and many other great programs. WIU awards more than $10 million in scholarships each year, including automatic scholarships for students who visit campus (virtually or in-person), live in the Chicago area, and have a 3.3 GPA or higher. WIU offers 250 different student organizations, a Multicultural Center, Student Recreation Center, and NCAA Division 1 athletics for students to get involved in.
